More March Madness

I can’t believe how many tops are being quilted this month, but I am enjoying every minute of it.  The first finish is Patchwork Basket (17 1/2″ x 21 1/2″).

I like how the swirly panto-graph subtly mimics the flower shapes.

The LBQ 2021 Mystery quilt Michigan was the second finish this month.

The panto-graph used is Daydream by Urban Elementz which is a combination flower and feather motif.  I didn’t take a picture of the machine quilting, however the texture is wonderful.  Michigan is MY quilt and is staying at my house.

The next top in the “to-be-quilted” queue was made in 2009 with batiks.

Right now I am hand-stitching the binding, so it will be ready for a picture of the finished quilt in a couple of days.

However as soon as a quilt comes off the machine, a new quilt top is loaded and the next in queue was Mo’sBasket (2012).

It feels great to get some of these older quilt tops out of the “tops” pile and into the completed pile.  Guess I had better get busy on the binding.

Have a good week,

Marlene
