Progress Report

All the turquoise frames have been sewn on the Baby Bear squares.  I picked a darker turquoise fabric for the other six blocks.

Today I am working on the red/white corner triangles – well trying to work on them.  I sewed the wrong side of the triangles so now there is a bit of unsewing and resewing.

Between the Lincoln checkerboard units and the bear squares, I have made a lot of progress on Wild Child blocks as leader/enders.  All 40 blue blocks for Wild Child are completed.  It is hard to get a good picture on this design wall, but I am happy to have half of the blocks for this quilt completed.

The plan for tomorrow is to start cutting triangles for the neutral background blocks.  The border and blue fabric came from my Mom’s stash that I inherited, so I am continuing the theme by using one of her background fabrics.   However the strings and scrappy triangles are all from my stash.

Happy Friday,

Marlene
