A Scrappy Quilt Finish

This scrappy quilt top is now a finished quilt.  It is amazing to me how much faster it is quilting on the HQ.  This quilt measures 42 1/2″ x 54 1/2″ and only took a couple of hours to quilt.  I used a rainbow variegated thread in a medium large meander and I like the bit of color that it brings to the black and white hourglass blocks.

Here is some detail –

I was concentrating on the spacing of the meander, but now I need to work on my starting and stopping.  The quilt pattern evolved on the design wall as an attempt to use up some scraps.
