Happy Thanksgiving

It has been over a month since my last blog post, but in that time I sold my house, quit my job and moved closer to family.  Needless to say life has been chaotic with not much quilting going on.  But now that the sewing area has been set up and organized that is changing.

I think that the more you create, the more ideas for future projects pop into your head.  At least that is the way it works for me, so after not quilting for over a month I had a difficult time deciding on a project.  In the end, I went with the simple to sew, but dramatic quilt top pattern “Licorice Whip” by Jamie Janow Elfert in black, white & red.

Spare minutes in the last month were used to work on a wool applique kit that I bought from the Quiltmaker.  This kit started my whole wool applique adventure and now the top is finished.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone
